Francesca Protano

Francesca Protano is Head of Technology Strategy & Product Innovation at CNH, where she leads the company's technological vision and the integration of emerging innovations — from artificial intelligence to digitalization — into the group's products and R&D processes. With an approach founded on Open Innovation, she cultivates an ecosystem where CNH, startups, universities, and research centers grow together, to accelerate the development of new technologies for the agriculture of the future. She holds a degree in Computer Science, with Master's degrees in Mechatronics and in Innovation & Technology Management; she is a STEM Ambassador at CNH and a Gold Manager at Federmanager. Her leadership is inspired by a vision of Sergio Marchionne: the freedom to always choose new directions.
