Ticket Terms of Sale

Introduction
These Ticket Terms of Sale govern the purchase of admission tickets to Human Driven AI Summit 2026 (Pompeii, 18-19 September 2026 — two days) through humandriven-ai.com. They supplement the Site's general Terms and Conditions, which continue to apply to anything not covered here. By completing a purchase you fully accept these Terms of Sale.

2. Prices and VAT treatment
- Prices shown to consumers (B2C) are VAT inclusive.
- For taxable persons (B2B) entering a valid VAT number at checkout, prices are shown and charged net of VAT under the reverse charge mechanism pursuant to EU rules on services relating to admission to events (implemented in Italy by Art. 7-quinquies of Presidential Decree 633/1972); the buyer accounts for VAT in their own country under the rules applicable there. For non-EU buyers, the VAT treatment of the country of establishment applies.
- The applicable price is the one shown at the time of purchase; promotional windows (e.g. Early Bird) are valid for the period indicated on the page.
3. Payment
Payment is made exclusively online via the Stripe payment provider (credit/debit cards). Payment data is processed directly by Stripe (PCI-DSS certified) and is never transmitted to or stored on our systems.
4. Order confirmation and ticket delivery
Order confirmation is immediate: upon successful payment you receive a confirmation email with your ticket in PDF format and your named badge with a personal QR code for event access. If the email does not arrive within a few minutes, check your spam folder and then write to segreteria@humandriven-ai.com.
5. Right of withdrawal — exclusion (Art. 16(l), Directive 2011/83/EU)
Tickets provide access to an event with a specific performance date (18-19 September 2026). Under Art. 16(l) of Directive 2011/83/EU and Art. 59(1)(n) of Italian Legislative Decree 206/2005 (Consumer Code), the 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply to leisure services where the contract provides for a specific date or period of performance. The exclusion of the right of withdrawal is expressly accepted, via a dedicated checkbox, at the time of purchase.
6. Refunds and transferability
- Tickets are non-refundable and cannot be transferred to other editions of the Summit.
- No refund is due for failure to attend, for changes to the programme, speakers, schedule or rooms, or for force majeure events that do not prevent the event from taking place.
- Sole exception: if the event is cancelled in full by the organisers, the price paid will be refunded within 30 days to the same payment method used for the purchase (excluding any third-party ancillary costs).
7. Name changes
The ticket name can be changed free of charge until 17 September 2026, 11:59 PM via the badge reassignment flow linked in the order confirmation email, or by writing to segreteria@humandriven-ai.com. The new attendee receives an updated named badge.
8. Governing law and jurisdiction
For governing law, jurisdiction and anything not covered by these Terms of Sale, please refer to the general Terms and Conditions (§10), without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections under the law of the consumer's country of residence.
