Biography

Ivan Mazzoleni serves as the CEO, or "Cultural Energy Orchestrator," of Flowe, a digital bank and Benefit Company within Gruppo Mediolanum, a role he has held since July 2019. Under his leadership, Flowe has achieved B Corp certification and is recognized for its commitment to sustainability and a "Better Being economy," focusing on empowering younger generations through innovative and ethical financial services. The company emphasizes ESG principles and operates as a carbon-neutral entity.[1]

Prior to his tenure at Flowe, Mr. Mazzoleni accumulated extensive experience in digital transformation and marketing within the financial sector. He spent several years at Banca Mediolanum, progressing through roles including Head of Marketing & Sales and Head of Digital Marketing. Earlier in his career, he held leadership positions at CheBanca! as Head of Marketing and contributed to digital strategy at Microsoft for over 10 years as a Business Digital Transformation Lead and Digital Advisory Lead, where he focused on business model innovation and brand positioning.[2]

Mr. Mazzoleni's academic background includes an MBA from SDA Bocconi University and a Master in Strategic and Operational Marketing from Bologna Business School. He has further specialized his expertise through executive programs at institutions such as MIT Sloan School of Management in Cybersecurity Leadership and Platform Revolution, Stanford University Graduate School of Business in Leading Change & Organizational Renewal, INSEAD for Business Model Innovation, and Harvard Business School in Disruptive Innovation.[1]

An advocate for the integration of innovation and sustainability, a concept he terms "Innovability," Mr. Mazzoleni also contributes to academia. He collaborates with various business schools and universities, including MIP Politecnico di Milano and Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore, and teaches "Inclusive & Ethical Leadership." His work reflects a consistent focus on leveraging technology for positive societal and environmental impact, aligning with discussions on ethical AI and human-centric innovation.[2]
