Mirko Perano

Mirko Perano is an Associate Professor at the Department of Management & Innovation Systems of the University of Salerno, where he conducts research and teaching activities focused on strategic management and innovation. He holds two PhDs, one from Sapienza University of Rome and the other from the University of Huelva (Spain), reflecting a strong international academic background.

His research focuses on the intersection of knowledge management, risk management, and ethics in the digital era. He is the founder and Scientific Director of the Q-ETIS Lab (Quantum & Emerging Technologies for Intelligence and Strategy), based at the University of Salerno. The Lab conducts both theoretical and applied research for businesses, with particular emphasis on quantum and emerging technologies applied to intelligence and corporate intelligence, with the aim of enhancing the value and effectiveness of tactical and strategic decision-making.

Before taking up his current position, Prof. Perano served as Vice-Rector and Director of the Department of Management at Reald University College in Albania from 2016 to 2021, where he also founded the international research group MaTTour. He is also an Associate Investigator at the Australian Cobotics Centre, contributing to the Human-Robot Workforce research program.

Author of numerous international publications, his work has appeared in leading academic journals such as the Journal of Knowledge Management, including recent studies exploring the transformative impact of AI on strategic management and ethical decision-making. His expertise in ethical AI and innovation management makes him a highly relevant speaker for the Human Driven AI Summit 2026, where he can provide valuable perspectives on the responsible integration of advanced technologies.
