Biography

Roberta Russo serves as the President of Donne 4.0, an association dedicated to empowering women and fostering female leadership within the technology sector. In this capacity, she champions the use of digital technologies as a strategic lever to overcome the gender gap and build a more inclusive and sustainable future.[1] Her leadership at Donne 4.0 also includes overseeing the Enabling Technologies Commission, reflecting her commitment to advancing women's participation in areas such as Artificial Intelligence, Big Data, Cybersecurity, Robotics, and the Internet of Things.[5]

Concurrently, Ms. Russo holds the position of Head of Managed Services Southern Europe and LATAM at Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE).[2] Her extensive career at HPE began in 1995, where she has since held various leadership roles in sales and IT, both in Italy and internationally.[2] She currently operates as a Cloud Business Manager for Europe and Latin America, focusing on innovative cloud services enabled by Artificial Intelligence.[2]

An alumna of Polytechnic of Milan with a degree in Electronic Engineering, Ms. Russo furthered her education in Strategic Planning at the London Business School.[5] She is a recognized speaker and disseminator on topics related to Artificial Intelligence, advocating for technology's role in eliminating gender disparity.[5] Beyond her corporate responsibilities, she is passionately involved in social innovation, including coordinating the CoderDojoHPE initiative, which introduces coding to children and young people.[2] Ms. Russo's work underscores a belief that diverse perspectives, particularly those of women, are crucial in shaping technological advancements.[4]
