Founder and Administrator of PROMETE Srl - Founder and CTO of Oxhy
Biography
Roberto Germano is an experimental physicist, entrepreneur, and inventor, recognized for his commitment to the research and development of innovative energy solutions. He is the Founder and CEO of PROMETE Srl, a CNR Spin-off Company active since 1997 in the field of technology transfer and physical research. Concurrently, he serves as Founder and CTO of Oxhy, an innovative startup founded in April 2023 with the goal of revolutionizing energy production. His most recent innovation with Oxhy is the Oxhydroelectric Cell, a patented device capable of extracting electrical energy from treated pure water, harnessing ambient infrared radiation. This technology promises to provide very low-cost energy, overcoming the limitations of current renewable sources and offering a sustainable solution to growing energy demands, including those arising from powering Artificial Intelligence machines and systems. His work contributes to the debate on ethical AI and the environmental impact of new technologies, proposing a paradigm for life that harmonizes humanity and nature. His background in Physics at the University of Naples "Federico II" laid the foundation for a career rich in scientific and industrial contributions. Germano is the author of numerous international physics articles and several industrial patents. Among his most notable publications are the essays "Cold Fusion. A Modern History of Inquisition and Alchemy" (Bibliopolis, 2000) and "AQUA. Electromagnetic Water and its Miraculous Adventures" (Bibliopolis, 2007). He also co-authored the volume "Technology Transfer" (Franco Angeli, 2010). An expert in Technology Transfer, he received the "Roberto Marrama" award in 2004 for young entrepreneurial talents. He is a member of the Scientific Committee for important international conferences such as IC-MAST and organizations like AQUAPHOTOMICS (Japan) and the "Luc Montagnier Foundation" in Geneva. His interdisciplinary vision is also evident in the co-founding of information platforms such as Pandora TV and Casa del Sole TV, and in the cultural association "ALTANUR – The Unexpected Connections", founded in 1997 to promote interaction between different fields of knowledge.
