Biography

Umberto Aprea serves as the Editorial Director of GR News 24, the journalistic agency responsible for coordinating news and information across Radio Kiss Kiss. In this capacity, he oversees the production and presentation of numerous radio news formats and holds responsibility for the overall news output of the station. A seasoned journalist since 1987, Aprea commenced his career in local radio before joining Radio Kiss Kiss. During his initial tenure, he contributed to newsroom operations and hosted sports programs such as "Gran Tiro" and "Radio Goal." His professional trajectory includes a period from 2001 to 2004 as a service chief at the radio journalistic agency ItaliaPress, followed by his directorship of the journalistic agency GR Italia from 2005 to 2010. Beyond his editorial leadership, Aprea is recognized as a professional speaker and voice artist, lending his voice to advertisements, documentaries, and editorial content. He has collaborated with major audio/video production agencies and national broadcasters, including RAI, Mediaset, Sky, and Discovery. His expertise extends to academia, where he serves as a lecturer in Sports Journalism at Camp Academy. Aprea has also contributed as an author to kisskiss.it and has collaborated on research concerning chronic-degenerative diseases with Professor Renato de Magistris.
